With the release of PvP, they also increased type effectiveness bonuses:
- Super Effective: 1.4 -> 1.6
- Not Very Effective: 0.714 -> 0.625
- Immune: 0.51 -> 0.390625
With these changes, we should see general Pokemon drop down from the top of the list. Since Deoxys is a psychic type, we should see bug, ghost and dark types dominate the DO@20 list of Deoxys counters.

- Tyranitar / Bite / Crunch
- Weavile / Feint Attack / Foul Play ( ↑ 1 )
- Scizor / Fury Cutter / X Scissor ( ↑ 3 )
- Mismagius / Hex / Shadow Ball ( ↑ 4 )
- Shiftry / Feint Attack / Foul Play ( ↑ 13 )
- Gengar / Lick / Shadow Ball ( ↑ 3 )
- Muk Alola / Bullet Punch / Dark Pulse ( ↑ 6 )
- Houndoom / Snarl / Foul Play ( ↑ 6 )
- Metagross / Bullet Punch / Meteor Mash ( ↓ 7 )
Within the top 10, only Mewtwo and Metagross are not bug, dark or grass types. Even then, Mewtwo has a dark type charge move.
