Latias is dragon and psychic type. So it is weak to dragon, fairy, ice, bug, dark, and ghost. Which ones come out on top? The list of top DO@20 counters against Latias is:
- Rayquaza: Dragon Tail, Air Slash / Outrage
- Palkia: Dragon Tail, Dragon Breath / Draco Meteor
- Salamence: Dragon Tail, Bite / Draco Meteor
- Dragonite: Dragon Tail, Dragon Breath / Outrage, Draco Meteor
- Mamoswine: Powder Snow, Mud Slap / Avalanche
- Mewtwo: Psycho Cut, Confusion / Shadow Ball
- Weavile: Feint Attack / Avalanche, Foul Play
- Latios: Dragon Breath / Dragon Claw
- Tyranitar: Bite / Crunch
- Rampardos: Smack Down / Outrage
Weather
When it is windy, dragon types and dragon moves are boosted. Latios (#5), Latias(#6), Gyarados(#9), Ramparados(#10) move up in ranking.When it is raining, bug types become useful, like Scizor(#4), Pinsir(#8), and Yanmega(#10)
When it is foggy, the top of the list changes into Mewtwo(#1), Weavile(#2), Rayquaza(#3), Tyranitar(#4), Mismagius(#7), Drifblim(#10)
When it is snowing , ice moves are boosted so we get Mamoswine(#1), Weavile(#2), and Jynx(#8)
Move set
When Latias has outrage, dragon types faint pretty quickly. The top DO@20 are Mewtwo, Mamoswine, Tyranitar, Gyarados, and Weavile.
Similar to Palkia, these guys are more about TDO than DPS. For me, I don't plan on using this list, I'll keep my dragon types (with higher DPS) and set up 1 or 2 additional battle parties once all of my dragons faint against Outrage.
